The ResNet NPND project  

A new possible cure for cutaneous Leishmaniasis – Research on a herbal medicinal preparation that may cure cuteaneous Leishmaniasis is conducted by the groups of S.M. Robledo (Medellin, Colombia) and T.J. Schmidt (Münster, Germany) was chosen to receive the NATVANTAGE grant award and is supported by the Wilhelm-Doerenkamp-foundation for three years.

The ResNet NPND project  

Mycetoma – perspectives of natural products from plants as leads to new therapeutics for the 18 th neglected tropical disease conducted by the groups of S.A. Khalid (Khartoum, Sudan) and T.J. Schmidt (Münster, Germany) was chosen to receive the first "Plants for Health" award and is thus generously supported for one year.

Apothekerstiftung, the Pharmacists' foundation of Westfalen-Lippe region, generously supports a research project on "Constituents of Herbal Medicines as Leads to new Chemotherapeutics against Neglected Tropical Diseases. The project conducted by the  group of T. J. Schmidt in cooperation with Swiss TPH, Basle, and S. Khalid, Univ. of Khartoum, Sudan, is funded for a period of three years.
